Amor Distor Buloran's Obituary
Amor Distor Buloran of Rowlett, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025. Born on August 11, 1956, in Cardona Rizal, Philippines, to Magdaleno and Maria Buloran. Amor lived a life marked by dedication, service, kindness, and generosity. A dedicated nurse, he practiced his profession at Parkland Hospital and Medical City, as well as in Kuwait and Philippines.
On April 20, 1990, Amor married the love of his life, Victoria Regina Poblete, in Manila, Philippines. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family, ministry, and shared passions. Amor had a deep love for Jesus, caring for the sick, and learning about other cultures through his travels.
Amor was preceded in death by his parents Magdaleno and Maria; his brothers Edgar, Junior, Manuel, and Raul; and his sister Belen Lobarbio. He is survived by his children Deborah Ruth, Francheska Maria, Timothy Kylle, and Daniel Marco, who looked up to him for his grit and integrity. His only grandson, Aaron Amor gave him so much joy. He will remain in the hearts of his brother Jose Rio; sisters Lolita, Paraluman, and Marites; and many relatives in their hometown of Binangonan, Philippines.
He never sought the spotlight, but Amor’s quiet strength and unwavering love made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. He led by example, teaching lessons of compassion, resilience, and humility. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
