Ana será recordada por su amor, bondad y dulzura. Fue una mujer de fe inquebrantable y una guerrera del Señor. Su fuerza fue nuestro refugio y su valentía nuestro ejemplo. Hoy descansa en paz en los brazos de nuestro Dios, habiendo peleado la buena batalla de la fe hasta el final. Su amor vivirá por siempre en nuestros corazones.

We honor the life of Ana Matilde Camacho Ferreira, a woman whose light and strength deeply touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Born on December 12, 1953, in Salcedo, Dominican Republic, Ana was the beloved daughter of Juan Ramón Ferreira and Rosa Lía Camacho. On May 1, 2026, Ana went to be with the Lord, leaving behind an indelible legacy of love, kindness, and gentleness.
On November 2, 1991, Ana united her life in marriage with Carlos A. Villegas Gómez, with whom she built a home founded on respect and affection. Those who knew her will always remember her unwavering faith; she was a true warrior of the Lord, whose strength became our refuge and whose courage remains our greatest example. Having fought the good fight of faith until the very end, she now rests in peace in the arms of our God.
Ana was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Ramón Ferreira and Rosa Lía Camacho, and by her siblings: Luis M. Camacho, Juan R. Camacho Ferreira (Vale), José D. Camacho Ferreira (Cheo), Domingo A. Camacho (Mingo), and María Consuelo Camacho (Conca).
Her memory and love will live forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind: her husband, Carlos A. Villegas; her children, José A. García Camacho, Félix A. Mercedes Camacho, Ana Y. Mercedes Camacho, and Luis S. Mercedes Camacho; her grandchildren, Rosiri E. Garcia, Rosevelyn Y. Garcia, Rokilda Garcia, Yasiri M. Mercedes Diaz, Yadielis Mercedes, Jakov Leyva, Elainie Mercedes, Alan Mercedes, Joshua Leyva, Alexa de Leon, and her six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Teresita Ferreira, Rosadelia Camacho, Marina DeJesus Camacho, and Tita Camacho, as well as her nieces and close relatives: Maribel Hernandez, Luisa Paulino, Marilyn Rosario, Yanelis Rosario, Griselda Rosario, Marina Ovalles, Ambar Abreu, José Rosario, Juan Rosario, and Edie Taveraz.
