Andrew Peyton Burke Jr.'s Obituary
BURKE JR., ANDREW PEYTON, of Allen, Texas, was born July 21, 1913 in Reagan, Falls County, Texas. He passed away February 16, 2007, son of Andrew Peyton, Sr. and Ruth Flowers Burke. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Sibyl Swinnea Burke, parents, 2 brothers and infant sister. Survived by 3 daughters, Barbara (Vic) Lambert, Linda (Charles) de Sola, Carol Burke, one son, Terry (Beverly) Burke, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews and one niece. Peyton was in banking, sales, and public relations most of his life. He retired as Vice President from the Liberty National Bank and Trust Company of Oklahoma City in 1977. Family will receive friends from 4 – 6 PM Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service and internment will be at 3 PM Monday, February 19, 2007 in the Rose Garden section of Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
