Andrew Duy Do's Obituary
Andrew Duy Do, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away in Dallas, Texas on June 25, 2024. Despite being the youngest, he was always the man of the hour. Andrew will always be cherished and remembered for his love, ambition, and strength.
Born on August 21, 2001, to Thuan Do and Thuy Mai Le in Plano, Texas, Andrew grew up to be a man full of life. Over the years, he touched all those he met with his love for sports, games, and cooking—a testament to his ability to rise above all else.
In 2017, our world shattered with the news of Andrew’s diagnosis. Time seemed to stop, but he never did. Andrew continued to push the limits of his abilities with no hesitation. He avidly pursued his education, his love for fitness and volleyball, and his passion for the finer things in life.
Building not only resilience in himself, he inspired others by finding strength in the cards he had been dealt. There has always been a fear that the days without him may not be as bright, but up to his passing hour, the love from his family and friends shined through.
Though he may have left us early after years of fighting cancer. His strength was never ending. Rest easy, my son, brother, and friend. We will continue to be inspired by the man you became. We hope that one day, we will be as strong as you have always been.
Andrew, your absence will be deeply felt by your friends, family, and the community.
We are lucky to have the chance to love you; and luckier to be loved by you.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Thuan Do and Thuy Mai Le, and his older sisters, Teresa Do and Katherine Do.
