Anne was always my favourite aunt. "Ont, not ant," she said. "I am not an insect." Beautiful, smart, funny, and artistic; she was always well-dressed and had the most impeccable house you have ever seen. She was also a talented seamstress. I asked her to make an evening gown for me, and she did. It landed me in the society pages of the Dallas papers as coverage for the most beautiful gowns at a charity event. She and my uncle John and my mother and father were married in a double wedding, and our families remained close throughout our lives. We are so very sorry to lose her. She always lighted our days. Requiescat in pace.

My sister Anne was the best. Out of the six siblings, she was the smartest and most talented one. We will miss her dearly.
