O’Connell, Angelina , age 84, of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully on 4/17/2011 in Dallas, TX. She was born on 7/4/1926 in New York City, New York to her parents, Calogero and Paola Parlapiano. Angelina was the oldest of 2. She married William in New York City on April 11, 1948. They had 1 child. She attended Mabel Dean High School and graduated in 1942. She was a resident of Plano, Texas for 7 years and employed by Marriott Hotel at LaGuardia Airport as a Executive Secretary. She is survived by loving brother Ben Parlapiano and wife Dorothy, nieces Laura Keenan and husband John, Paula Miller and husband Michael, Elena Airaghi and husband John, and nephew Charles Parlapiano and wife Christy and cousin Ben Schittone and wife Susan and numerous great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by husband William and daughter Deborah. She will be interred in St. John’s Cemetery in Queens, NY. Angelina’s family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Doctors Scott, Stanley, Ball and Chung and the nurses at Saint Paul’s ICU for their care. Remembrances can be made to the Italian Club of Dallas, charitable and culltural organization or a charity of your choice.
