Angie Dean Roddy Mixson's Obituary
Angela “Angie” Dean Roddy Mixson went to her heavenly home on May 17, 2020. She was born on January 23, 1957 to James and Joyce Roddy in Greenville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband Loran Mixson, sons Michael McRee and Jason (Treva) McRee, her mother Joyce Roddy Douglass, brothers Ronnie (Sharon) Roddy, Dale (Diana) Roddy. Sisters Janita (David) Allison, Candy (Rob) Rose. Grandchildren Tabetha McRee, Jade McRee, Nathan McRee and Logan Dean McRee. Great grandson Axel McRee Stepchildren Talena Mixson and Cameron (Kymberly) Mixson step grandchildren Nyla and Zarlyn Wyatt and Brayden and Bryleigh Mixson, and many relatives and friends.
She was a loving wife and dedicated mother grandmother and great grandmother. She had recently moved back to Greenville with her husband to help minister to those less fortunate. Her life was dedicated to helping others.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: Restland Funeral Home,13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 7524. Public viewing: Friday May 22, 4pm-6pm. Graveside Service: Saturday May 23, 11am.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made for Angie to go to the homeless ministry she and her husband started. Donations need to be made out to the following:
