Anita was a faithful loving wife and mother, a compassionate and giving friend and a tireless example of what a disciple of Christ should be. Anita’s zest for life was obvious to all of us who had the privilege to know, love, and be loved by her. Anita was a ray of sunshine, a breath of fresh air, a shoulder to cry on, and an example to follow. She was aware and always grateful for all that her loving Savior had done in her life. We are grateful for her impact on our lives and proud to be a part of her legacy. Her humor was simply an overflowing of the joy that was in her heart. Her generosity was an extension of her gratefulness for all that Christ had given to her. Anita lived generously, loved extravagantly, and we are all better because of her. We thank God for you. Our hearts break only because we will miss you. We will miss you in the pew every Sunday and at Sunday school. We will miss the cry of “Granny is here!” at family gatherings. We will miss the friend that was never judgmental, always forgiving, and always available. We will miss your ability to bring joy, simply by being Anita… Mom… and Granny. Thank you for showing us how to live a Christ like life. We love you! “Well done, thy good and faithful servant… enter now into the joy of the Lord.” Matthew 25:21 Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243 Funeral service will be held Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11 AM at Kiestwood Assembly of God Church, 2716 Kiest Blvd., Dallas, TX 75233.
