Anita Hufford's Obituary
HUFFORD, ANITA G. (COGDELL) born December 31, 1919 in Dallas, TX and passed away August 12, 2010 in Dallas, TX. Anita was the only child of Maud Grubbs and Edgar Cogdell. She was a respected professional woman working for an oil and gas exploration company in Dallas. From 1955-1958 she helped oversee the construction of the only home in Dallas built by Frank Lloyd Wright. She was married to Kenneth Hufford, an employee of the City of Dallas, who preceeded her in death. She was a Texan from birth to death. She was a loved friend to many and will be missed. Services will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Restland Abbey Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Friday at Restland Funeral Home.
