Anita Marie DeShazo's Obituary
Anita Marie DeShazo was born March 18, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on May 27, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Marie Efflandt; brother, Herbert and sister, Marien. Anita is survived by her loving husband, George Deshazo; children, George Jr., Janet, Gina, Joann and Geri Sue; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Fredric W. Efflandt, numerous other family members and friends. Anita (Mommy) was the best mother all of us could have ever wished for. She set the best example and set the bar high as the most loving and caring mother and friend to many who ever met throughout ninety years. She will truly be missed by all whom she has loved and had the pleasure of returning love to her. She will live on in the hearts and minds of us all. We lost a true earth angel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service for Anita will be held on Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 at 11:15 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
