Anita Lee Proctor's Obituary
PROCTOR, Anita Lee departed this life on Sunday, February 07, 2016 in Richardson, TX. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 04, 1930, to George and Gladys Watkins. On August 4, 1951 she married the love of her life, Thomas Lee Proctor, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Anita began her career with General Electric and retired from Slaughter Industries as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Anita was active in the church as a Sunday School Teacher and also served in a wide variety of charitable organizations over the years. She also enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anita was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband of 63 years, and her brother Jerry Watkins of Cincinnati Ohio. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Tom Proctor of Garland TX, Tim Proctor of Richardson TX, Terri Proctor Legband of Pflugerville TX, and Todd Proctor of Garland TX; her sister Patti Watkins McDonald of Fairfield Ohio; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff at Methodist Richardson Medical Center for their excellent medical care; and Senior Minister Ron Key of Cornerstone Christian Church for his faithful support to the entire family. The service for Anita L. Proctor will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cornerstone Christian Church (2700 Christian Parkway, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75234)
