Anita Marie Vaught's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce of passing of Anita M. Vaught on November 27, 2025 at the age of 78. She was born on January 20, 1947 in Wauseon, Ohio.
Anita was a loving mom, grandma, sister, and a wonderful friend to all of those who knew her. She worked at Bank of America just shy of 25 years as an operations analyst. She loved her "work family" and will be truly missed.
Anita is survived by daughter Alice (Simon) Watson and son James Vaught. She had 4 grandchildren Tyler (Katy) Vaught, Andrew Watson, Jacob Vaught and Ryan Watson, as well as 2 great grandchildren Connor and Cason Vaught. She is also survived by her sister Marie (Raymond) Cotten and brother John Pierre (Carol) Long.
Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her parents John Elbert and Anne Marie Long.
Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home in the Wildwood Chapel on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30, with funeral services immediately following.
