Ann A Jones' Obituary
Jones, Ann Atchison Loney was born in 1919 to Wesley M. and Cloma Atchison. She was born in Elgin, Texas, grew up in Austin and lived in Dallas, Texas since 1961. Ann passed away on July 29, 2013 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, F.M. Atchison, Wesley Atchison and Alex Atchison; son, Charles Dale Loney and son-in-law, Terry Meyers. Ann is survived by her daughters, Linda Meyers and Carole Turner and husband, Jerry; daughter-in-law, Lillian Loney; grandchildren, Melissa Stinson and husband, David; Kim McMullen and husband, Jimmy; Terry Meyers II, Chris Petzold and wife Caryn; Curtis Petzold, Clint Petzold and wife, Ashlea; Clay Petzold and wife, Corrie; Ann King and husband, Jim; and Daphne Loney. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, Meagan, Taylor, Alison, Rachel, Garrett, Kayley, Bobby, Katie, Matthew, Michael, Trent, Bailey, Bradey, Riley, Brooks and Nate and three great-great-grandchildren, Breyson, Cahnnon and Aiden. Ann was dearly loved by her family, and was a strong, independent and hard-working woman. She retired from the office of the State Comptroller of Texas after 35 years. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Restland at 2:00 PM.
