Peggy Pinchbeck
Ann was a treasured friend, coworker and mentor. We shared many fun times together such as walking at Richland College, movies, and dinners. Her volunteer work as an Ambassador at the DFW airport put to good use her Spanish lessons after retirement.
One of my best memories was the look on Ann's face, when her boss said he thought Ann had been kidding when she put in for retirement. He said he couldn't believe it when she said she was one of the first women in Computer Science, until he saw her age!
She embraced retirement, continued to keep active both mentally and physically; and provided a great example of life-long learning...golf, Spanish and various exercise classes for me.
Her friendship will be sorely missed!
