Ann Margaret Windham's Obituary
WINDHAM, ANN MARGARET 88, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully on March 5, 2011. She was born on September 28, 1922 in Stillwater, Minnesota to her parents, Melvin and Margaret Johnson. Ann Margaret attended Carlton College in Northfield, Minnesota and served in the Navy during World War II. While stationed in San Francisco, she met James Windham and they married on October 26, 1946 in Stillwater, Minnesota. A long time resident of Garland, Texas, she was a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church where she taught in the Parish Day School for many years. Ann Margaret will be remembered by her loving husband and their daughters, Laurie Ann McGill and Debra Elizabeth Windham of Garland; nephew David Onsted and wife, Gladys, Sebring, Florida, son-in-law Stan McGill Garland, grandchildren Andy and Heath McGill Sikeston, Missouri, and three great grandchildren Emma, Sam and Jack. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Onsted and nephew, Paul Onsted. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at Restland Wildwood Chapel, Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
