Anna Bramlett Dosher's Obituary
Anna Bramlett Dosher, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2020. She was born in 1928 in Dallas, Texas to Bill and Dollie Bramlett. She grew up in Dallas where she later met and married her beloved husband, Ralph T. Dosher, Jr in 1948 . They celebrated their 65th anniversary right before his death in 2013.
Anna was creative, outgoing and a talented singer. As a teenager she was invited to sing solos and participate in the choir at Highland Park Methodist and then continued to sing in her personal church choir for many years. After she married, she was involved in many clubs and organizations including the Dallas Garden Center, Dallas Symphony Orchestra League, Dallas Civic Music, Le Femme Du Monde, The Association for Cultural Arts, the Advisor Board of the Rotogravure Committee of the Opera , and the Tower Club of Dallas. Later in life, she and Ralph loved the time they spent with friends in numerous dance clubs. She was always very active in her clubs and organizations, often in a leadership position. She was also a Life and Master Flower Show Judge and a licensed realtor and broker for over 10 years.
She and Ralph were long time members of Park Cities Baptist Church where they helped teach the children. She and Ralph were both teachers at heart and she loved to teach her grandchildren and play games with them when they stayed with her. She is survived by her daughters Diane Hale and Carol Betten (Doug), 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Her graveside service will be at Restland Cemetery on Sunday, December 6th at 2 pm, visitation will be held from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm inside Restland Funeral Home.
