Anna Ewing's Obituary
Anna Ewing, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and her family on October 8, 2015. She was born in Waxahachie, TX on June 14, 1932. After marriage and the birth of her two sons, Anna joined Mary Kay Cosmetics in 1964 and instantly, she and Mary Kay had a special bond. She was the 9th consultant with the company and retired as a National Director. Anna implemented many programs, including the Medal Program and Monday night training sessions. She was given many awards for all of her contributions and achievements. She was powerful, successful, inspirational and was a true mentor to thousands of women whose lives she changed. But what she was best known for was her devotion to Jesus and her passion to spread the Gospel. She spent countless hours building missions and working with children, including her most recent endeavor, the Good News Club. Anna was a true prayer warrior. In fact, many who knew her would not be followers of Christ today if it weren’t for her. She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Mamie Wood and her brothers Rollie and Barney. Anna leaves behind her devoted loving husband of 63 years, Billy, sons David and his wife, Debbie, Mark and his wife, Rhonda. Grandchildren: Jessica, Jacob, Catheryn, Chelsea and Drew. Great Grandsons: Caden, Colten, Alex, Wyatt, Ryan, Benjamin, Easten, Gavin, Hunter, and Gabriel. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne Wood, and wife, Ann, and Bobby Frank Wood, and his wife, Jo Anne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Good News Club, First Baptist Church Carrollton. The visitation for Anna Ewing will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Anna Ewing will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00am at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
