Anna Bell Hambrick Wyatt's Obituary
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Anna Bell Hambrick Wyatt claimed this promise on June 30, 2016. Anna, was born in Hattisburg, MS to William David Hambrick and Willie Ethel Austin, on Oct 26, 1923, she was one of eight children born to this union. She married Reid Pink Wyatt on November 30, 1946 in Greenwood, MS. Anna was a stay at home mom that always looked for ways to help provide income for the family. She took in ironing and babysitting to name a few. In 1958, she learned a new trade, along with her sister, Clyde Phillips making draperies. With this knowledge she stepped out on faith and opened her own business Wyatt Draperies. It is still going strong 60 years later under the name of A&L Draperies. Anna was active in church during her life, teaching Sunday school, working in bus ministries, and beginning the Senior Saints, a group for the “older members of the church, at Calvary Baptist Church, a church that held a special place in her heart. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and 6 brothers and sister,Reid, her spouse, and one great granddaughter, Lindsay Schooling. Surviving family includes, Ida Howell, sister, Eunice May Galati; and Alma Grace Alderman,sister in-laws. Children include Linda and Marion Mosley,Reid and Becky Wyatt, Cecelia and Joseph Bower, and Fred and Debe Wyatt. There are 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren surviving. The service for Anna Wyatt will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Haltom City with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX. Reverend Marlon Mosley, Eddie Adams, and Eric Wyatt, grandson of the deceased will be officiating the services.
