Anna Young Hyde's Obituary
Anna Young Hyde was born June 8, 1928 to Clarence "Dick" and Nancy Young in Greenville, Texas. In her early years she lived in Temple and finally Dallas where she graduated from Forest Avenue High School in 1946.
She peacefully joined her husband of 61 years, William "Frank" Hyde, Jr in Heaven on July 30, 2023 after 95 years on this earth. They were married in Dallas, June 24, 1947. From this union were two children, Nancy and William III.
In her early work years, Anna delivered show tickets in Dallas. With this job she got to meet entertainers such as Tony Bennett, Red Skelton, Pearl Bailey and the list goes on. Later in life, she worked for Oak Cliff Savings as a teller and eventually decided to stay at home.
She loved to fish for crappies with her cousins late at night. They always brought a lot of the fish home and then Anna would cook a huge mess of crappies. You better come to the table hungry.
A visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow in the Rock Garden at Restland Cemetery on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
