Anna-Lee Monique Notice, born July 24, 1997 in Kingston, Jamaica, passed away on February 14, 2016 in Lindale, TX, at 18 years old. She was affectionately called ‘Lee-Sha’ by family and friends and was a resident of Grand Prairie, TX. At the time of her death, Anna-Lee was pursuing her Associates of Arts degree at Mountain View College in hopes of one day realizing her dreams of becoming a lawyer. She loved reading (especially Ellen Hopkins), writing, and speaking. At her alma mater, South Grand Prairie High, she was well-known among debaters and well-loved among her AVID club members. Earlier, she had attended Bishop Gibson High School for Girls in Mandeville, her hometown, and then Willowdene High in Spanish Town, Jamaica, where she became known for her eloquence, eccentricity, and ethics. While living in the U.S., Anna-Lee worked at Braum’s, was a member of the Grand Prairie Panthers pathfinder club, and was an active member of the Grand Prairie Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed listening to music, singing, and sleeping. She was a quote-collector and an excellent advisor. Anna-Lee was passionate and kind, and in all things strove to do, and be, better. She led a promising life and died holding within her heart the promise of a new life. She leaves behind her mother, Alison Notice; father, Leon Notice; siblings, Lee-Ann Notice and David Notice; and other family and friends.
