Anna Louise Robertson's Obituary
Anna Louise Robertson, age 78, of Waco, TX, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Providence Hospice Place. With her family beside her, she passed peacefully of natural causes. Anna was born June 25, 1941 to Hansel & Montie Gibson in Dallas, TX. She moved to Crockett, TX during high school and graduated in 1959. She married Harold (Robbie) Robertson on October 4, 1963 and they raised three girls, while moving around for his military career. They moved back to Texas in 1977. Anna worked many years as an Accountant and had many different hobbies including travel, scrapbooking, bingo and jewelry making. She had an adventurous spirit, so she loved activities like snowmobiling and white-water rafting. She even obtained her pilot’s license and would fly from the airport near their home in Plano. In 1989, Harold and Anna moved to Waco where she worked for Raytheon until she retired. After she retired, she spent many years working at Texas Animal Medical Center, as she loved dogs. She and Harold were married 56 years and she will be dearly missed.
Anna is survived by her husband Harold (Robbie); daughter Teresa Robertson, of Katy; daughter Sheri Grounds and husband David, of McKinney; daughter Janet Killian and husband Scott, of Midland; sister Betty Seale of Pollock; sister Sarah Singleton of Tomball; grandchildren Jacob Price, Dustin Price and wife Tessa, Logan Grounds, Rachel Grounds, Parker Killian, Matthew Colgan, Taylor Killian; great grandson Nathan Price; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Hansel & Montie Gibson and brother Gene Gibson.
