Anna Belle Scott's Obituary
Anna Bell Scott, born December 25, 1935, in Kendleton, Texas, was called home at the age of 91 in early January 2026 in Dallas, Texas, to be with her Lord and Savior. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Louis Scott; her daughter, Carla Yvette Scott; and her cherished grandchild, Kayla Deann Scott.
She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Florence Askey; two children, LaGene Robinson and Jo Ann Coble; five grandchildren, Tojiuana Strather, Karlon D. Strather, Erica Hernandez, Akhila Lanae Scott, and Chadd Wayne Scott; along with many dear loved ones who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Anna lived a life of dedication and hard work. From modeling for dressmakers in her teenage years to caring for beloved clients in a hair salon well into retirement, she took pride in all she did. Her greatest fulfillment, however, came from being an unwavering guide to her children and a watchful, loving presence in the lives of her grandchildren.
Anna’s life was a shining light of faith, warmth, and generosity. Deeply rooted in her love for the Lord, she expressed her spirit through quiet acts of kindness and the sweet melodies she hummed while baking. Her home was filled with the comforting aroma of fresh treats and the sound of heartfelt gospel tunes. No one ever left her presence without feeling seen, loved, and often carrying a week’s worth of groceries, toilet paper, or paper towels—a true reflection of her nurturing and giving heart.
2 Timothy 4:7 - “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
