Anna Louise Thomas' Obituary
Anna “Grannymama” Louise Mims Thomas passed away peacefully in her sleep at the young age of 87. Born in Dallas, Texas, she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1948 and after many years of employment, retired from Rockwell International (Collins Radio) in 1985. She is survived by her children, Rayanna (Robert) Thompson, Idella Thomas and T.C. (Chubby) Thomas Jr., Grandchildren: Tony Artis, Ray (Stephanie) Artis, Stephanie McVea, Odis Lanier (Christina) Bonner, Tametra (Chris) McCoy and Shuvira Bell. Great Grandchildren: Ray Artis II, Raven Artis, Raychel Artis. Ciara Smith, Cedrick (CJ) Wayne Webster Jr, Chelsea Harvey. Katherine Williams, Cadarius Williams, Londin Maxfield and Laniya Frazier. Kinni and Kylaa McVea-Ocasio. Maxwell Bonner and the arrival of Sophia Bonner this summer. Great-Great Grandchildren: Ray Artis III and Alexis Artis and Emanuel (EJ) Wilson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243. Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Inspiring Body of Christ. 7701 S. Westmoreland Road, Dallas, TX 75237.
