Annabell Forsyth's Obituary
Annabell Forsyth, born on the 4th of July in the year 1920 in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas, passed away at Baylor Garland Hospital after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Council Mayo Forsyth; her daughter, Candice Mayo Forsyth Davidson; her mother and father, William Riley and Anie Beard Clark; 4 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her son, Ronald Edwin Forsyth and his wife Bette Joe; a daughter, Sandra Ann Forsyth Roddie; 7 grandchildren: 14 Great Grandchildren; a number of loving nieces and nephews along with a very close extended family. She was a member of the Methodist Church; a past member of the Canasta Club, the Garden Club, and the PTA. She had various other club affiliations, including the Mt. Pleasant Country Club. Her grandchildren include: Kris Forsyth of Lawton Oklahoma, Challenge Roddie of Laguna Hills California, Cassandra Forsyth Stephens of Santa Ynez California, Amy Roddie Neil of Dallas, Texas, Erin Davidson Bardin of Dallas Texas, Kyle Forsyth of West Lake Village California and David C. Davidson of dallas Texas; She spent many years in Mt. Pleasant, Texas before moving to Dallas with her family in the late fifties. She resided, the latter part of her life, in Chandlers Landing on Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall, Texas. “Mommy Ann”, as she is affectionately called, will be missed by all who knew and loved her. An open visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home beginning at 3:00PM. Funeral services will be held at 9:30AM on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or Cancer Fund.
