Annabella Ramirez Wright's Obituary
Annabella Ramirez Wright, age 81, passed away after a long battle with ovarian cancer on June 7, 2022, in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on December 1, 1940, in Hebbronville, Texas.
Annabella was born to Isadora Garcia-Ramirez and Fiacro Ramirez, along with her brother Fiacro, Jr. She grew up in Hebbronville and has extensive family in the Ramirez and Garcia families of South Texas, and many friends in Laredo and San Antonio.
Annabella married her husband and soulmate Robert B. Wright, Jr., in 1972, in San Antonio. Their careers took them both along with their 5 children from Austin, TX to Walnut Creek, CA. The family settled in Plano, TX in the mid 1980’s and they spent the majority of their lives there. The family was active at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano.
Annabella’s legacy is centered around her family in Texas. Her immediate family of 5 children and 8 grandchildren were enhanced by her many cousins in the Ramirez, Garcia, Ruiz and Canales families, along with her extended family from Bob in Georgia with the Wright and Tyson families. Annabella leaves her loved ones with unforgettable stories about family with her legendary sense of humor and wonderful memories of gatherings where she would cook the most amazing foods. She will be missed greatly by her loving family and friends.
Annabella will be reunited in heaven with her husband Bob, parents, brother, and her loving son, Mark Arvin.
Those who will miss Annabella the most are her children Michael (Sherri) Arvin, Robert Wright, Patrick Arvin, and Mary (Shashin) Wright Shah, and her grandchildren Kelea, Samantha, Nick, Will, Presley, Nikhil, Sunil, and Jai.
Services will be held on Friday, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas on July 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM.
