It was always difficult for me to say “Anne” without first saying, “Lou”. Lou and Anne DePiro were two of the most faithful and loyal people I have ever met. Anne had such a wonderful sense of humor. Whenever we were together it seemed we were always involved in finding something funny about our circumstances, whether they were good or bad. I have judged all Italian food by the spread she set for me one time back in 1972. I learned all about ante pasta and so many fabulous Italian foods. She was the most wonderful hostess ever!
I will miss her sweet smile and the depth of her love for Christ and His Church. I will miss her hugs and the unique accent that she maintained with such sweetness. Her laughing eyes are closed for us, but I’m sure they are wide open and taking in the grandeur of heaven. I will miss you Sweet Anne. Have I told you lately that I love you?
