Anne L. Ford's Obituary
FORD, ANNE L. passed away on Tuesday, February 4th at her home in Dallas, Texas. She lived her life with an everlasting devotion to God in all she did and believed. In her passing we celebrate her life as Mother to Deborah and so many more who just called her Mom or felt she was in their hearts. She was Nana to Angelique, her granddaughter, and great-grandsons Warren Patrick and Darryl Chase. She held Darryl her son-in-law and Warren Sr. her grandson-in-law as sons to be cherished. She was Auntie Momma to her niece Kathy who she loved like a daughter and who kept a watchful and caring eye on her. She was a sister who loved her siblings Elsie, Kitty, Walee, Terry, John, Michael and Sonny. She held a special bond that sisters close in age have with her sister Elsie. She took great pride in her nieces and nephews Kathy Turner, Sonya Ford (who was ever present during her illness in Virginia), Homer Turner, Lyle Ford, Tamu Roberts, Michele Ford and John Michael Ford. Her family and friends were loved without hesitation and with an open heart. Her spirit knew no age. Alas her body did. She was independent to the end and we hold her forever in our hearts knowing she is free of pain and suffering. In our memories she lives on and we know she is finally home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
