Ann, or Mrs. McGuffee as we called her in 1978, helped train me as a nurse at Doctors Hospital School of Vocational Nursing. She ran a tight ship and expected nothing short of excellence for the patients on her floor. I started out fearing her, but that soon turned into a deep love and respect! May God bless all of you as you carry on the torch she has passed to you.

I worked with Anne for many years at Doctors Hospital. She was my first supervisor. She was exacting, she expected excellent care for her patients. She taught me a lot. I know she will be missed by many people.
