Anne Prier's Obituary
Anne was born on October 1, 1923 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to James and Anna McMinn and passed away September 30, 2015 in Richardson, Texas. Preceded in death by brother, Jim McMinn and granddaughter, Amanda Navarro. Anne is survived by her husband, Howard W. Prier; daughters, Carol Chester and husband, Gerald, and Janie Navarro; granddaughters, Lisa Chester Bibawi, Anne Chester Hurley, Caroline Navarro Palomarez; and great grandchildren, Gabriel and Nathaniel Bibawi, Leo and Lauren Hurley, Adrian, Alex, and Sophie Garcia, Mila Palomarez. Anne relished her role in creating a warm, inviting home for family and friends. Sitting around her Sunday lunch table was a delight. She was creative in all aspects of homemaking including sewing, beautiful needlework, gardening, and cooking. Dedicated to the Lord, she constantly read and memorized His Word and volunteered for many years in her church media ministry. However, she considered her most important role as wife to Howard, her high school sweetheart and partner in marriage for 70 years. Their love and dedication to one another established a secure foundation for their two daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a role model for many. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:30 pm on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Believers Chapel in Dallas, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
