Annelore Rollins' Obituary
ROLLINS, ANNELORE CARMEN HOFFMANN Born June 26, 1930 and passed away on May 26, 2012. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, SSGT James A. Rollins, their infant child, Herald, and her parents, Alois and Marie Hoffmann. Survived by her daughter Karen, grandson, Alexander; sister, Elfriede Mieth; nephew, Frank; nieces, Anke and Ines; great nephews & nieces, Kristian, Kathleen, Markus, Kersten, Olivia; and her best friend, Elizabeth Drudik. Annelore was a caring woman who loved and worked with children for many years. She enjoyed life to its fullest every chance she could. She never let her polio slow her down, even when she was in pain she didn’t let anyone know. Her many talents will be missed, as a translator who spoke seven languages, a loving grandma who could make anything right with some chocolate chip cookies, to a gourmet chef at her restaurant to the hostess who pleased a crowd with every dinner party. Sadly, when the love of her life passed on to heaven she missed him more with each passing day, Anne, “Annie” as her friends called her, talked to him every day as though he were still here. As we say goodbye my sweet Mother I know you are happy and walking hand in hand with Daddy and smiling down upon us! We will miss you and remember you as the wonderful and loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Beloved Wife. Walk now among the Angels in the clouds, your work on this earth is done and God has greater plans for you. We will remember you when the roses bloom and the first snowflakes fall, when the wind touches our cheek, and the rain gently falls upon our faces, when the sun shine brings us a rainbow, we will think of you and our hearts will fill with joy and fond memories. We say goodbye now to your earthly body, as your soul passes to Heaven to join your beloved Jimmy, your memory will live forever in our hearts. Auf Wiedersehen Liebe Anne! Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm on June 8th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00pm on June 8th, at Restland Abbey Chapel.
