Annetta Josephine Thomas' Obituary
Thomas, Annetta Josephine Dickson Born: June 2, 1930 in Vemon, Texas. Ann is predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years. Billy Bob Thomas. She is survived by her beloved sister, Helen Fay Williams of Rockwall, Texas; brothers Jim Tomlinson of Hatch. New Mexico and Dick Dickson of Glendale, Arizona; nieces, Connie Baker and Tiffany Tyer; nephews Jeffrey Boebme, Christopher Boehme, Jack Boles, and Kenneth Thomas; and many other loving family members and friends. Ann lived in Dallas, Texas ‘for the majority of her life after her family moved there from Vernon when she was a small child, and spent her final years residing in Rockwall, Texas near family and friends. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas in 1947 and married Billy Bob Thomas on August 9, 1947. Bill and Ann did everything together from sports like bowling and golf to square dancing and traveling the world. She was also one heck of a 42 player and loved playing games and having a good time. Ann spent most of her career in Dallas in the legal field as either a legal secretary or a court reporter. She was a partner of her own free-lance court reporting service for 25 years as welll as co-owned and operated B&A Coffee Service with her husband for many years prior to their retirement. Ann always had a loving hug, sweet smile, and an infectious laugh for everyone who knew her, and she will be missed. Visitation 6-8 Fri 9/11/09 at Restland. Services 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
