My heart was overcome with emotions of happiness and joy when I saw the video of beautiful photographs of Mrs. Flowers life’s journey. Yes, she was stunningly beautiful, but more importantly she was kind, giving and one my mother’s closet friends. I remember fondly the time when Mrs. Rose Burke, Dr. & Mrs. Robert Andrews, my mother, myself and Mrs. Flowers visited Las Vegas (my first). We had such a great time. I also remember and will be eternally grateful for the time she spent with my father and me, helping to plan my mother’s service. I was quite inexperienced in planning a proper celebration befitting my mother; however, Mrs. Flowers was there to guide me every step of the way, as well as when I lost my father. Mere words could never express how kind and loving she was. I hadn’t spoken to her in quite some time and was saddened only for a moment when I learned of her passing, for she lived a full and meaningful life
To the Flowers family, I write my expressions of love and gratitude in celebration and honor to one of the sweetest women this side of Heaven and to one of the best friends my mother had.
Lovingly
Phyllis Otto
