Annie Josephine Floyd's Obituary
Age 89, of Dallas, passed away November 15, 2008. She was born September 18, 1919 in Dallas, to Ola and A.G. Floyd. She attended Dallas schools, graduating from Sunset High. She retired from the University of Houston. Annie was very active her entire life, enjoying softball, bowling and traveling. She loved to meet new people and she loved all things “Texas.” Annie is preceded in death by her sisters Alma Floyd, Margaret Buchanan and her brother Edwin Schrimpf. She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Simon, Chris Hudgins, Joyce Short and brother Bill Floyd, as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 3 pm, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Restland Memorial Park, with David Moore officiating.
