Annie Robinson Seals' Obituary
SEALS, MARTHA ANNIE ROBINSON 67, passed away on May 30th. Beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, Annie was a stranger to no one. Her passion for life and enthusiasm for those around her made a fast friend to all she encountered. Annie came into this life to the family of Frank and Martha Robinson of Dallas She had two loving parents and was the first of three beautiful sisters, each a year apart. She is survived by her sister, Carol Robinson Biel of Santa Monica. Raised in Dallas, Annie graduated from Hillcrest High School and SMU. Biology was her major, but nature was her passion. Her marriage to her husband, Bill Seals, is a love story for the ages … two individuals who thrived with each other creating a connection to withstand the challenges that came their way. They were both devoted to their son, William, offering an inspiring example of how to live life together as a team and what it means to love and be loved thoroughly and completely. Annie communed with God through nature. She loved subtle sunrises, a paddle lowered into a flowing river, the soft earth connection of hiking the high mountains, the warmth of a blazing campfire and sharing it all. With a bounce in her high step, she headed up the trails, leading family and friends through “just one more switchback”. After becoming paralyzed in a bicycling accident, she refused to be defined by a chair. She continued to spread her zeal and passion for life in the refuge of her own personal Preston Hollow wildlife refuge. Some of her favorite activities in the end of her life included guided air boat trips up and down the Brazos River, and an always, a thriving array of aquariums. Annie’s unrelenting positive attitude and unmatched sense of love will continue to inspire us all and will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Annie’s name can be made to the Nature Conservancy.
