Annie Ina Young, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, in Allen, TX. She was born on November 19, 1930, in Archibald, Louisiana.
Annie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Billy Young; her parents, Henry and Rozella Gray; her sisters, Dorothy Lowry and Marie Young; her brothers, William, Carl, Henry Jr., and Earl Gray; her grandson, Jonathon Wheeler; and great-grandson, Jacob Young.
She is lovingly survived by her children:
- Michael Young and his wife Terri, along with their sons Russell and Brent.
- Sharon Wheeler and her husband Greg, and their son Justin.
- Sandy Skaggs and her husband Stan, and Sandy's daughter Kristi.
She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Ethan Young, Abigail Berry, Grayson Berry, Bailey Wheeler, and Blair Wheeler. Annie is survived by her brothers, Gene and Ralph Gray, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Annie will be remembered for her love of reading, her talent for growing beautiful roses, and her fondness of Elvis Presley. She was a kindhearted woman who brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. Her presence was a gift, and her memory will be treasured forever.
She will be missed immensely by her family and friends.
