I was fortunate to have known Tony from the days we worked together with Doubletree. I was working in Dallas and he was working at Doubletree Post Oak. Many years later our paths crossed again when I came to work at the Hilton Anatole. Tony had already announced he was retiring by the time I joined but he was so welcoming to me. It was so nice to see a familiar face from our Doubletree past. Tony was always so kind and a gentleman. I knew he had a pretty tough job in keeping everything working at the Anatole, but he was just a great kind of person you would want to be around. I am very sorry Tony has left. My deepest condolences to his wife Donna, to his family and all who were fortunate to know Tony.
