Peters, Jr., Anton B. Born February 3, 1941 in Fort Meyers, Florida and passed away October, 14 in Allen, TX. Preceded in death by his father, Anton B. Peters, Sr. and his mother, Lillian Ardale Peters. Survived by his wife of 19 years, Gretchen; two children, Deborah Loyd (Chip), Michael (Kristi) and sister, Carolyn (John) Crabb; three step-children, Courtney Bryant Jaeckle (Mike), Christen Carroll (Paul), Matthew Bryant (Crystal). Proud grandfather to Josh and Haleigh Peters, Alex and Ashley Loyd, Ava and Bryant Jaeckle, Jack, William and Reid Miller and Ryder and Harper Bryant. Anton was a standout football player at Hillsborough High School and inducted into the Hillborough High School Hall of Fame. He played football for the university of Florida Gators and Denver Broncos. Anton graduated from University of Florida with a degree in Engineering and went on to have a successful business career eventually retiring from GTE. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his big heart and larger than life personality. Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:30AM. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
