Antonio R. Bernal's Obituary
BERNAL, ANTONIO R. passed away on March 19, 2013 at 72, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Salinas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Miguel and Maria Concepcion Bernal on August 15, 1940. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Maria Concepcion Bernal. Antonio was a devoted husband and a dedicated father who through hard work, perseverance and sacrifice devoted his life instilling the importance of education, faith in God and family unity to his five children, Antonio Jr., Lucy Euteneier, Araceli, Claudia and Hector Bernal. Antonio’s four beautiful grandchildren brought him tremendous pride and joy as they will miss their beloved Bito immensely. He is also survived by his brothers, Miguel and Juan Manuel Bernal along with his sisters, Maria B. de Garcia, Consuelo B. de Lopez and a host of nieces and nephews. Antonio is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jesus and Manuel Bernal and sisters, Maria E. Bernal, Maria Elena Bernal, Maria (de) Jesus B. de Garza and Teresa B. de Baltazar. Antonio’s generous spirit and jovial nature will be sorely missed. He will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, March 22, 2013 at 6:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel with Father Vela officiating.
