Antonio Arturo Lopez's Obituary
LOPEZ, ANTONIO ARTURO was born June 18, 1951 in Tornillo, Texas. On August 28, 2010, he passed away in Dallas, Texas with his daughters by his side. A graduate of the Jesuit School of El Paso, University of Colorado at Boulder, and Boston College Law School, he settled in Dallas where his criminal immigration & family law practice flourished for 30 years. “Toney” had a lifelong passion for his heritage, music, and politics. He found a friend in everyone he met, saw the best in everything, and brightened every day with his humor and compassion. He was preceded in death by his father, Arturo Lopez, and his beloved wife, Gloria M. Lopez. He is survived by his daughters: Urica A. Lopez and Adria D. Lopez; mother: Anita Lopez; brothers: Jose L. Lopez, Joe G. Lopez, and Arturo Lopez; sisters: Arcelia Serna and Leticia Villalobos. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Restland Memorial Chapel. The service will follow at 6:00 PM in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Antonio A. Lopez here.
