Antonio Munoz's Obituary
MUNOZ, ANTONIO, born February 15, 1928 in Longview, Washington, left his temporary home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2011. Some of Granpa’s most enjoyable times were spent at his ranch where he tended to his cows and spent many peaceful hours relaxing beneath the sunset. He was a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie, Texas. He was the founder of Munoz Tile Contractors and was known for his beautiful work. He taught many the passion of his trade. He leaves behind many that loved him and although difficult, must carry on without him. Our hearts ache at the thought that he is gone but are comforted because we will see him again in Heaven. He touched many lives along the way. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceding Antonio in death are his children, Francisco Martinez and Lenette Munoz, his parents, Refugio and Juanita Munoz; as well as mother’s of this children, Juanita Munoz and Hilda Munoz. He is survived by children, John Munoz, Anita Orozco, Gloria Macias, Rudy Munoz, Estella Martinez, Marivel Martinez, Henry Munoz, Luisa Najera, Flora Gonzales, Brenda Estrello and Edward Martinez; 41 grandchildren; 69 great-granchildren; his siblings, Jesus Munoz, Juan Munoz, Efren Munoz and Maria Alonzo; as well as long time companion, Lillian Perez and children, Maria Ramirez and Lilly Ramirez. Visitation will be from 4:30-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Rosary service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2010. A service will be held in Antonio’s honor at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 in Restland’s Memorial Chapel, with interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park.
