Mr. Antonio "Tony" Sanchez's Obituary
Antonio Sanchez from Dallas, Texas was born January 26, 1942 passed away in his home on January 3, 2017. Antonio had a strong Christian faith and was known for reading his Bible. He enjoyed witnessing to people and often shared various scriptures which had strong meanings to him. One of his favorite scriptures was about forgiveness: “Forbearing one another (exhibiting patience), and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.” Colossians 3:13 In life, Antonio was blessed with a large loving family. He was survived by eight siblings: Daniel Sanchez, Mercid Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez, Jovita Mendoza, Lydia Sandoval, Celia Byers, Rosemary Dela Cerda, and Lucy Anderson. Four children: Anthony Sanchez, Raymond Sanchez, Robert Sanchez and Teresa Rollings. Thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Many extended family members and dear friends. The family will receive friends at Restland Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm, Friday, January 6. 2017. The Rosary will begin at 7:00. Funeral service will be 9:15 am, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 600 S. Jupiter Road, Richardson, TX 75081. Following the service, there will be a procession to the Garden of Memories located within Restland Memorial Park for a brief committal service. All are invited to attend. Arrangements are under the caring direction of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243 A Fallen Limb A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me. Remember the best of times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage. I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we’re together again.” -Author Unknown
