Ardath F. Troyer RN's Obituary
TROYER, RN, ARDATH passed away peacefully while asleep in her bed in the early morning hours of May 22, 2014 at the age of 83. Ardath was born May 31, 1930 in Live Oak, Florida to Edward and Thelma (Rhodes) Futch. Ardath graduated from Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. She received her RN degree from Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was supervisor of the Labor and Delivery Department at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas when she retired from nursing in 1984. She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Thelma (Rhodes) Futch; sister, Virginia Phillips; and brother, Ned Futch. Ardath married Carl Troyer May 14, 1951 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Ardath is survived by her husband, Carl; daughter, Emily Troyer Dunlap of Dallas; son, Edward and wife, Claire Troyer of Livingston, Texas, grandchildren: Lauren Saternus, Erin Dunlap and Megann Kramer, one great granddaughter, Sydney Saternus; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
