Arlene P. Gamble, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Medical City Hospital in Plano, Texas.She was born on March 23, 1934, in Puerto Armuelles, Panama. She met her husband, William R. Gamble in Panama where they married on June 15, 1958. They had two children, William “Robby” Gamble (deceased 2005), and Michelle Van Gilder.Arlene truly lived life to the fullest through travel, cooking, sewing, reading, golfing, and other hobbies. Most of all, Arlene enjoyed and cherished her family. Her grand children and great grandchildren gave her such joy. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill; her daughter, Michelle Gamble Van Gilder and spouse James Van Gilder; grandchildren James, Taylor and Austin; great grandchildren Vaughn and Austin Jr.; Sisters Aurora Lim Holloway; Adalia Lim and Sandra Lim Aubrey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Family, friends, and others whose lives Arlene touched are invited to celebrate her life at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas at the Wildwood Chapel November 30th at 10 AM.Funeral arrangements for Arlene Gamble have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Greenville Avenue and Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972)238-7111.
