Arline A. Walker's Obituary
Arline A Walker, 97 of Dallas passed away peacefully Sunday, February 7, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years of marriage, Jack Walker, as well as her four sisters, Willimae, Joyfay, Grace, and Jewel; her two sons, Gary Paul and Charles Michael; and her granddaughter, Racheal. Arline was a lifelong resident of Dallas born on May 9, 1918 to Noah and Suzie Franklin. She loved to travel with her husband Jack and spending time with all of their grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her son Frank Walker and his wife Joan of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter-in-law Betty Earnest of Mesquite, 4 grandchildren, Michele Dukes, Vicki Webb, Mickey Walker and Rebecca Stadelmann. 10 great grandchildren Chris, Jennifer, Tiffany, Stephanie, Brittany, Stephen, Justin, Heather, Walker Lee, Brylee, and 4 great-great-grandchildren Austin, Hudson, Chelsea and Colton. The family also offers special thanks to the hospice workers who were there to help Arline and her family at the time of her passing. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside Service for Arline will take place at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Restland Memorial Park, Sunset Garden. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. The family asked any donation be made in Arline’s name to the ASPCA.
