Armond Frederick Stoneman's Obituary
Armond Frederick Stoneman, 90 of Desoto, Texas passed away on June 25, 2020 in Desoto, Texas, He was born on October 16, 1929 to Armonde Stoneman and Grace Fly in Joplin, Missouri. He married Doris Ethington on September 12, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. He was a Northrup Engineer Test Lab Mechanic, for 1 year, a Temco Electronic Engineer, for 5 years, and self-employed. He was a member of Allen Military Academy Alumni. He served in the Army Air Force from 1948-1952 as a SSrgt (T) Reg AF. He served the Military Air Transport Service in Korea, 1403rd Maintenance Squadron and 1401st Flight Operations Group where he earned a Korea Service Medal, Japan Occupation Medal, UN Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. Armond is survived by his daughters, Adrienne Well of Comanche, Texas, Alicia Nelson of Gran Prairie, Texas and Nancy Humble of Cleburne, Texas; grandson, Fred MCCullugh, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris and oldest daughter, Dara McCullugh.
