Arrena H. Traller's Obituary
Arrena Traller, a longtime resident of Dallas, passed away July 26, 2011 at Caruth Haven Court. Born in 1923 in Dallas, Texas, Arrena graduated from Highland Park High School in 1940 and graduated from Fairmont Junior College in 1942. She was a member of Saint Michael and All Angel’s Church. She is survived by daughter, Candis K. Traller of Winter Haven, Fl and nephew, Carl Howard of New York. She was preceded in death by H.B. Howard, father, Carline Howard, mother, Rena Evans, grandmother, Howdy Howard, brother, and Dell Berry, great aunt. Arrena’s favorite pastimes were shopping and playing bridge. She and her longtime friend from high school, June Magee, shopped endlessly for clothes and earrings. She was an avid duplicate bridge player and achieved her Life Master with her longtime friend, Janet Lochner. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 31st, from 5-7PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Monday, August 1, at St. Michaels & All Angels Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
