Arthur Stuart Hale's Obituary
Age 66, Arthur Stuart Hale died on June 30, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Arthur Kenneth Hale and Ruth Price Hale on January 18, 1949 In Dallas, Texas. Stuart graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Texas Wesleyan University. He has been a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Local 127, for over 40 years. He began his career as Stage Manager and Production Carpenter of the Dallas Summer Music Hall. He worked at Dallas Stage Scenery and the Dallas Opera where he traveled internationally with the sets in various productions. As an active member of Local 127, I.A.T.S.E. , he served District 6 in a variety of positions, President, Vice President, Business Agent; and as the District Secretary for more than a decade. Many brothers and sisters of the alliance will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sisters, Jean Henry and husband Boyd, Cecile Geaslin and husband Gene; his niece, Alisa Braho, and nephew Nathan Keas. Longtime family friend, Mary Ann Higgins. Best Friend, Connie Kitchens. A celebration of Stuart’s life will be held at the Winspear Opera House on Monday, July 6, 2015. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. at the Winspear; a program will follow at 11a.m. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Cemetery at 1:30p.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Stuart’s memory to a charity of your choice.
