Dr. Arthur Bradford Ingalls' Obituary
Dr. ARTHUR BRADFORD INGALLS, SR., Chaplain (Col.) US Army (retired), fell asleep in the arms of the Lord on September 20, 2018, at the age of 96. Dr. Ingalls was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Bementa Beck Ingalls, grandson Travis Ingalls Petrie, his parents, and both sisters. Dr. Ingalls was the founder and chief minister for the Flow of the Spirit Church, after being a Christian Science practitioner for many years. Dr. Ingalls was a leader in Toastmasters groups. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, and chaplain for the Dallas Chapter. Dr. Ingalls was a Marine in World War II; and later entered in the US Army as a chaplain. He remained in the US Army Reserves, and retired as a Colonel. Dr. Ingalls was the author of four books of theological commentaries.Dr. Ingalls is survived by his five children— Arthur B. “Brad” Ingalls, Jr., and his wife, Margaret; Paul B. Ingalls, and his wife, Joan; Ronald E. Ingalls, and his wife, Dannielle; Janet Ingalls Yarbrough; and Leslie Ann Ingalls Hagar, and her husband, Dennis; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.Visitation is Monday, September 24 at 2:00; funeral at 3:00, at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas.
