Arthur George Paddock Jr's Obituary
Age 82 of Mesquite, TX is finally free, going peacefully to the Lord on Wednesday, 3/21/12 after a lengthy battle with dementia and diabetes. Born in New Orleans, LA, 2/14/30, he worked for Decca Records, now MCA Records for over 35 years. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Emma Lou Paddock. Survivors include: Toy Marie Paddock of Garland, TX; sons, David Paul Paddock and Arthur George “Pat” Paddock III, DDS both of Sunnyvale, TX; brother, Melvin Paddock of Picayune, MS; sisters, Shirley Watingney of New Orleans, LA, and Emelda Modenbach of Gonzalez, LA; grandchildren Madison, Markie, Jackson and Justin Paddock as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Kim, Shari and Lana of HomeQuest for providing home health care and companionship for the last few years. We would also like to thank Autumn Leaves and Hospice Plus for their guidance through these difficult times. Rosary and visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, March 23, 2012 at Restland Abbey Chapel. Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
