Arthur Lloyd Wimmer Jr.'s Obituary
Wimmer Jr., Arthur Lloyd Of Plano passed away Friday night. He was born Oct. 7, 1917 in Dallas. He was predeceased by two sons; Arthur L. Wimmer III., and Kevin Wimmer. He is survived by his wife; Virginia, daughter; Suzanne, grandchildren; Shawn Wimmer, Shannon Wimmer, Erin Helm, Matt Reynolds, and four great-grandchildren. He attended the University of Texas where he joined KA and he played freshman football, then on to SMU continuing his goal of Petroleum Geologist. He enjoyed a long career in the “oil business.” He was a member of S.T.G.S, AAPG, RMPG, Exchange Club of Dallas, Former Texas Rangers Assn, & Texas Thorobred Assn. Thanks to the caregivers at Life Care Center, Plano. Arthur enjoyed a long life, a career he loved and going places he enjoyed. Services Monday @ 12:00 Noon, Abbey Chapel, Restland.
